About Me

My name is Dean Lowdon and I welcome you to my website - Cleaned by Dean. I have been window cleaning for about five years now. I first started in my home town of Newark in Nottinghamshire. I then took time out from window cleaning two years ago and made a big decision in my life to up roots and come down to Devon. Today I provide reliable and efficient window cleaning services in Barnstaple and the surrounding area .

I am glad that I did as I am now married to a Barnstaple girl so this is my home now and what a lovely part of the country it is. Since getting married I decided in April to return to my former trade as a window cleaner. I enjoy the outdoors and meeting people while I work.

I prefer to clean windows the traditional way - by hand. Yes! I still use the squeege, mop and scrim cloths because I am sure that many Barnstaple people still want windows cleaned this way. People in my home town most certainly did. They preferred the personal touch where all wood and plastic is wiped down, sill's washed and door sill's cleaned etc.

I take great pride in my work and I am fully insured. I am a member of The Master Guild of Window Cleaners. The Guild aims to benefit cleaners and their clients alike, by raising standards, improving work practices, ensuring its members are adequately insured and are always aware of the health and safety challenges that face them each day as they carry out their work.

What I Can Do

There is not much that I cannot do. I clean the windows of residential homes, conservatories, small commercial premises and retail shops. I also provide gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning.
